Hello,
I've just recently taken a look into macro applications and VBScript. I don't have any prior knowledge to scripting of any sort, so keep this in mind. Preferably looking for an application that I can somehow 'record' this with, with minimal scripting (unless it is absolutely required).
The macro will need to open about 4-5 programs in succession of one another specified in a particular order. Furthermore, DVD/CD drive ejection may need to be initialized as well. Each program will have its own fields with settings that will either have to be selected or typed and at the end of each program, it will inquire to save a file and each filename must be unique (or perhaps) and created by pulling the date from Windows (or somewhere).
Basically, the macro will be set to create saves and process and start processes from each program. What the previous program will do will generate files that will be necessary for proceeding programs to use, etc. and these programs will need to know to initialize which file, etc.
This sounds overtly complex, so I'm ultimately looking for someone to know if this is possible with macro's? Many thanks in advance for any replies.
Cheers,
Danny
