Can these Mac Pro DDR3-1333 RAM be used in regular PCs?

Their only difference that I've noticed from the page/images is that they're ECC. In a board that can't handle ECC it just means you won't get the ECC feature.

No promises; I don't think I've ever bought ECC memory, except memory that's already inside a server I've ordered.

- edit - hold on, $99 USD for 4GB DDR3, are you crazy? I'm from the UK so I don't know US prices, but we generally get ripped off for electronics in the UK and yet 4GB DDR3 is about £25-30 here (approx $37.50USD - $45).

I'm guessing that you already own these DIMMs and you're wondering whether they're safe to put in a PC.

No. I don't own these DIMMs and I'm not in the US.

I'm in Hong Kong and I see an offer of 2nd hand of the above DIMMS (detached from Mac Pro), 4x4GB + 4x2GB, for a total of USD$99.

I'm considering buying these DIMMs for use in a PC, if they are usable in them.
