i believe my friend here was referring not to those upgrades, but to tweaks that would allow one to purchase games and then put them on the shelf so that they do not get scratched or broken and be allowed to play the backups he has made of his own games---that he has purchased....... well, can he do that????????????

And no you can't backup games right now, unless you have a dual-layer DVD burner. (good luck finding one)
