Can the Xbox 360/PS3/Wii hook up to a 2405FPW?

I'm wondering if the PS3 needs HDMI due to the blu ray copy protection.

I'm hoping to get one of these consoles to hook up to my Dell 2405FPW. Suggestions?

Xbox 360 can be connected to dell 2405 which comes with component input.
Can't say for PS3 since I do not own it myself.

Wii will also hook up with the component or composite video. If you are going to hook the Wii up, make sure to buy the component cables. It looks a lot better running in 480p, especially on the 2405fpw.

All three of the systems can hook-up to at 2405FPW via Component. The monitor only has 1 component input so I would recommend spending a little extra on a component switch if you have them all, and of course want them all hooked up at the same time. That way you don't have to be swapping them in and out all the time.

I believe it's HDCP you should be worried about, as you can always switch b/w HDMI and DVI with an adapter cable (well, cables, including separate audio). AFAIK, BluRay and HD-DVD will require HDCP (and so HDMI/DVI) for 1080p playback at some point in the future, but that restriction isn't currently enforced.

I'd be surprised if PS3 ever requires HDCP for 1080p gaming, though.
