Can the thermaltake 31cfm fan be plugged into GA-7DXR fan header safely??

I just bought a sk-6 with a thermaltake 31cfm fan. I plugged it into the motherboard fan header and it seems to be working fine. Is this safe though?? I know it's power consumption is only about a little more then the little chipset fan on my northbridge. I get fairly decent temps of around 44c idle with a case temp of around 24c. Thanks in advance for any help on this.

its fine for that fan, but if you have a delta 38cfm fan then i STRONGLY suggest using a molex adapter.
