Can the Scrol Wheel Logitech 510 be programed for a key function?

Hi was wondering if any of you know how to program the scroll wheel to do a key function in games. Registry key command? Thanks

u mean push in? or scroll. scroll tends to be already set in the game...very few let you use it as something other than weap switch. push in can be other things depending on what u set it as in windows mouse drivers. i set mine to middlebutton😛

I use Logigamer to program all the buttons on my 510, including the 3 little buttons above and below the scroll wheel.

As far as programming the scroll whell itself, each game is different, some will let you do it from within the game config screen, others will require you to change the config files. I found it's possible in most games, but it doesn't always work correctly.

Agh this game is Steel Beast Pro (just came out) does not have a function for the Scroll wheel, Mousware 9.80 will not let you assign a key function to the scroll wheel either, nor thru logigamer (not that I can see?). I know that Ghost Recon will reconize the scroll wheel and can set it up any way you like. Any way that I am not thinking about, like a registry setting, hmmm? Thanks for the info though.
