Can the school bar you from taking AP tests?

My school has said that it will bar you from taking AP tests if you don't meet the requirements(Academic & Behavioral ) and you are required to take the class prior to taking the exam. I thought you didn't have to take the class, WTF is up with that? They said they were trying to protect the school's average.:disgust:


BTW, before people start saying I deserve what I get if I am lazy and an ass, I am not failing be any stretch of imagination. Last time I checked, I had the highest grade for the course out of all the classes so STFU.

So what if they do? Also, at our school, we were allowed to take tests that didn't have associated classes (we didn't have classes for all of the tests). So, in that case, you certainly could take one without being in a class.

you can take as many as you want if you pay for them., it doesnt matter if yo utake the class or not, just weather you pay them

and if your school wont let you take them their for whatever reason, take them someplace else and sue you school for being morons

back in 1996-1997 i read the rules and the school could not keep you from taking the tests.

No, theres no such rule. There are plenty of students that take the test w/o taking the class. I think the school is just worried students that dont take the class and will do poorly on the test, which will then reflect badly on the school itself. But if you think you can get a decent score then fvck them and take it anyways. If they try to do anything, take it up the w/ the school board

the schools are usually asses. However my school gave you a 1.25 weighting for AP. So if you got an 80 for the class, your grade was really a 100. This was used for rank where I exploited the shyt out of taking AP Child Psych and playing with little kids for a 118 while people who worked their asses off in Standard english got 90's. I literally raped them, but the school stopped doing that after they saw the exploitation.
