Can the Richard Pryor quotes thread be unlocked?

I started a thread that could help his fans pay respect to the late performer. There were legitimate posts before Odin started thread crapping. Please re-open the thread and/or remove the flame posts. We as fans shouldn't suffer because someone decided they were going to ruin a comemorative thread.
 
Just a personal opinion here.

If you remove the flame posts and the posts with quotes that aren't exactly acceptable material for AnandTech, you're left with an empty thread.

BTW I find Richard Pryor's comedy to be very funny when performed by Richard Pryor.

Maybe you could start another thread to honor him without the quotes?
 
Most of that thread is flames started by an extremely boorish individual. Feel free to start another and if he or anyone else pulls another stunt like that they will be spending the rest of the Winter elsewhere. To make sure it doesn't happen, there are no mistakes or misunderstandings please link this thread to your OP in your new thread about Richard Pryor
