Can the projectors at Dell.com be used for watching tv/dvd?

Can these projectors work for TV/DVD on a daily basis? If so, how is the quality. We are redoing out house and I suggested that we get a projector for our family room since it is two stories.

When you go to a bigger screen you have to sit back farther or you are able to see the pixels. So make sure you aren't 3 feet from a 11' screen.

Oh yeah they won't have a tuner so to watch tv you will have to hook it up to a vcr. And if you are gonna get it for dvd I suggest trying to find a projector with component in. Although probably the dells only have S-video, regular video.
