Can the newer revisions of the DFI NF4 Ultra-D still be modded to SLI?

I remember reading a random article somewhere that the new DFI boards can no longer be modded to SLI.

Anyone know what I am talking about?

The newer revisions have epoxy over the place on the chip where you'd be penciling a bridge - people have used a utility blade to scratch off the epoxy and succesfully mod the board to SLI.
