I am wondering if this is true about the Netgear RT314 router or not? I am thinking its not because i thought it was 300 meters which is 300 + feet.

Any help is greatly appreicated
Thanks

the limit is 100 meters, which is 300 feet and change. the limit is node to node. you can exceed the 100 meters node to node, but you will suffer with incredibly slow speeds. this is (fast)ethernet standard.

if you want, at the end, you can attach it to a switch (which will act as a repeater) so you can extend it further than 300 ft.

My RT314 is not centralized. One PC has only 6FT of CAT5 while the other PC has about 150FT of CAT5. No problems at all!!!!
