can the ipod touch read pdf if it is emailed to me?

it is my understanding that you can open and read pdf if it is in an email attachment
please let me know if I am wrong
Also any speculation as to when the 64GBs are going to be out?
 
Yes, you can read PDF's that are emailed. The render engine is pretty good too.

As far as 64GB - my best speculation is June 2009. That's when Apple normally has announced new iPhone/Touches.
 
If you jailbreak it, there's a .pdf reader for the file system available?

Not quite. It's just a hack for Safari that lets it read local files, which in turn opens up the PDF in the built-in PDF reader.
