Can the iPhone listen to audio streams through the internet?

Reason I ask is you could use tunevine to be able to listen to not just 8gB but ALL of your music, depending on the bitrate of your music, and depending on how fast the iPhone can download (assuming your home internet connection will allow you to upload at the max bitrate of your music).
