Can the Intel 845PE chipset supports 2X1GB RAM modules?

I am thinking of putting two OCZ 2GB kit 2X1GB modules onto this board. The specs say that it could run up to 2GB but only got 2 slots. If the RAM module is double sided then you can only use DIMM 1&2. So I would think it will work.
Anyone who did it please let me know.
