if you got the ati x300 card then you can upgrade to the nvidia 6800 model but you'll have to get it from dell.
 
I upgraded mine. It came with a piece of crap ATI x300. I got the laptop from a friend as trade for an item he broke of mine. I didn't want that graphics card so I replaced it with a Geforce 6800. The Geforce 6800 overclocks pretty well also. Its kind of a pain to upgrade the graphics card unlike previous Inspiron models I've upgraded as you have to almost take the whole laptop apart to get to the graphics card but it is well worth it.
