I am wondering if the Game Doctor can repair Dreamcast Cd's,also known as GD-Roms. My Dreamcast has ruined Phantasy Star Online with scratches, I was wondering if they could be removed with my Game Doctor. I just dont wanna totally screw up my Phantasy Star Online....

So does anybody know if the Game Doctor can repair Dreamcast Cd's????

Be careful when you're putting in the DC games. Didn't that game just come out a few days ago? (the us release)

Yeah, but my bro opened up the game while it was loading, and it is not working now. It will go to the sega screen, it will weird noises, then it will go to the startup screen( You know, the screen where you put in the music cd's) It sucks not being able to play Phantasy Star Online...I just got it today

How does it work? Is Game Doctor some kind of polishing compound for disks? I've never heard of it.

Its cleans discs very well; It takes scratches and stuff off discs, it is very good. Cleaned a lot of Playstation games that have a had scratches, now, there is not one scratch! I would reccomend it.

So does anybody know if the Game Doctor can repair Dreamcast Cd's????

Only one way to find out. You can't use it anyway...

My first advice would be to kill your brother. ;) (just kidding, I am not responsible for your actions ;))

They're a little diff from regular Cds. They use a GD-ROM format, kinda closer to a DVD. I don't know if this just cleans the surface or if it repairs scratches. But if it's supposed to fill in scratches, then I dunno. Scratch up a demo disc if you have one and see how that works, that's prolly your best bet.

My cousin (who works at an EB) let me use his store Game Doctor on some of my scratched discs. I don't have a dreamcast so I could not tell you if it works. It all depends on the depth of the scratch. Seems to work better for PC cds than Audio cds for some reason.

Cheers,

Yes im sure. I was at Blockbuster today and they had a big game doctor display and they had these green fin things for normal cds and orange for dreamcast. I have no idea what the difference is but this is what i saw!

ALSO - TRY THIS

The sock thing worked for ALOT of my games so dont just think of it as BS. Never tried it with a DC game though.
