Can the FireGL X1-128 peform better than the raedon9800?

Can the pro solution FireGL X1-128 beat a raedon in 3dmakr kinds of tests?. Is it built for it? if theres a big difference it might be worth the 200 bucks. Anyone?

no, the fireGL line is designed for advanced 3d rendering, and wireframe applications, like 3d studio max or autocad. The drivers are optimized for this, it wont run very well at all on a "3dmark" type application.
