If you already own a Canon MP130, the definitive answer is it takes the non-chipped cartridges.
I have somewhat looked but as far as I can tell, the BCI-24blk contains 9.5 ml of ink. Have found nothing about the capacity of the tri-color. I believe the Canon list price is 7 bucks for the black and darn neat 19 bucks for the tri-color. Although I don't own a printer based on these cartridges, I have seen posts by those that do and most are very happy with the quality. Economy wise using OEM inks, its about twice as expensive to print compared to the ip3000, 4000, or 5000 family of printers using OEM ink and non chipped cartridges.--figures from the April/05 issue of consumer reports.
Its long been my theory that these can become very economical printers when paired with third party cartridges-----I note my favorite supplier---www.bulkinkjetcarts.com has both the black and tri color cartridges for MP130 at $1.00 each. I know Zepper likes swiftink and can't comment on their prices
although I have seen good reviews of swiftink also.
In terms of the MP130, it often is paired with a very low initial price. Sadly the flagship of that line the MP390 usually carries a huge street price and all things being equal, one is often better off with a MP780 which one can often find cheaper compared to the MP390.
