Can the ATI X1950XTX playback HD DVD and Blu-Ray movies properly?

I am wondering if my aging X1950XTX can support decent playback of the latest HD contents such as HD DVD and Blu Ray. I am thinking of using it in my HTPC with the following spec:

X2 4000+
2GB RAM
250GB 7200.10
ASUS M3A Mobo

I tried to pull out some reviews, but they were tested using the old ATI drivers ( catalyst 6.11)..maybe some of you guys here can shed some light?

I think I saw HDCP support on my card, so yes.
