Can?t buy a Geforce3 Ti500.. PLZ HELP?

Why is it that I can?t really find any Geforce3 Ti500 cards anywhere? I?m looking for the Leadtek WinFast GeForce 3 Ti500 TD in particular.

WHERE ARE THEY?

I've been having the same problem, the supply of all GeForce3 Ti500s seems to have disapeared. I am having a system built for me, and both the fellow doing it as well as myself have been looking for cards for over a week without any luck. They don't have it in stock, they can't order it and they have no idea when things are going to get better.

I am getting the impression that the GeForce4 is causing manufacturers to dump their inventories, and that they underestimated the demand in the short term. It is stupid, as even with the GF4 impending I need the machine now, and would be happy to pay the price - however I don't think anyone wants to be left with inventory of $400 cards when they are eclipsed and their price will fall.

I am probably going to be just buying an inexpensive GF2Ti200 card with fast RAM and live with that until I can get either the GF3Ti500 or the GF4 - depending on the rumored announcements and how well I can survive with the little card.

If you hear anything pass it on though 😉

i don't expect any more untill next month due to the GeForce4 launch, then look for ti 500 to have vivo and 128megs for about $375 and up. seems to me were a day late and a hole bunch of dollars short.

The Ti500 chips have been in extremely short supply for the last month or so....and with the GF4 coming I don't expect that situation to improve much.

<< So should I wait till February? Then how long till they put out the geforce4 cards in the store?. >>

If you want a card now buy the Ti200 or the Radeon 8500... personally I'd go with the 8500.
If you can wait, then nVidia's GF4 will be announced February... though it may not be available until a month or so after that. It seems likely ATi will be releasing a slightly faster part soon also.

This sucks! I have the money to burn right now and don't want to settle for something not being the best! Not too often I'm in this position! I guess I shouldn't be complaining....

funny, i have been seeing them around. i myself have been looking for a ti200, and ran into many ti500s. what pricerange are you lookking for? you can always resort to pricewatch....
