Can system restores be undone?

I thought I read somewhere that system restores could be undone. Is this true?

Windows system restore, or a OEM supplied restore disk? Tell us what you did to your cpu.

I had a problem with Firefox the other day. For the first time it crashed, when I went to restart it it made me make a new profile (which is really odd considering I didn't need to make one even after a fresh install) and when it restarted all of my favorites were gone as were my extensions. So I was just going to do a Windows system restore to last week so I get all of my favorites and extensions back.

If you didn't do the system restore in safemode, then yes it can be undone.
