Can steal this from AT?

For those who have weblog (like me) and like to use the smileys at anandtech, can I just link the smileys directly from anandtech and use them that way?

could this be inappropriate or something? *shrug*

just as expected. But I'll be the only one using them and the bandwidth is probably no more than 50k per month.. Much more than ppl neffing here... But I guess it's the concept.

I would like further responses please. 😉

It doesn't matter if it's only a little bit, still wrong. And you need permission to copy the image files to your computer as well since they are probably not public domain.

You've received an answer. It's somewhat ethically and definitely legally wrong. Stealing bandwidth, no matter how much or how little, is still stealing. Why don't you just host the images yourself, if it's no more than 50k/month?

Dear me - give them to me and I'll host them. But if you take away from AT, that's bad

Depending on how their servers are setup...they may have hot linking disabled.

Don't you see all the *ebay-stole-my-pictures-and-bandwidth-threads* ?? - Careful...zuni may replace your image with uh, something else.
