I might be ordering something that would be shipped freight. I was wondering if I could have it delivered to my house.

Depends on the freight company, most of them will though. I get 2 or 3 freight shipments a month.

usually, depends on the carrier and the dimensions of the item. i know some carriers will charge additonal if you dont have a dock, or if youre at a residential adress and the driver has to

A: cut the wrap and start throwing boxes out the back
B: or use a trailer with a lift and unload

I ordered a treadmill direct from the manufacturer and they shipped it freight to my front door. Didn't cost me any extra except for the $20 I gave the guy to help me haul it upstairs.

I've had several freight deliveries to my residence. I provided my own handtruck to move the boxes from the truck into my house; they delivered the items to the curb of my driveway, and after that, it was up to me to transport the goods inside.
