Can someone with an AirPort Express help me?

I have some questions regarding the AirPort express. I would like to use it to stream MP3s and AACs from my computer to my stereo. I have a few questions.
1. Can it work as a client to another network? I already have a WRT54g base station. If it's a client will it still work properly?
2. Can it stream with the wired connection? I use AES on my network and I don't think this is capable of that type of encryption.

1. Yes, you have to use the hacked firmware that enables WDS on the WRT54G
2. I'm not sure what you mean?

2. I'm not sure what you mean?

1. I can do WDS. Is that what the AirPort Express uses?
2. Can the AirPort use AES Encryption on the WLAN interface?

"One note: when using the AirPort Express as a WDS, you are limited to either using 128-bit WEP or turning off security altogether. This was not mentioned on the AirPort Express pages on apple.com, although it is addressed in the manual. WPA is generally not supported over bridged connections on WiFi products due to the fact that WPA encrypts the MAC addresses which WDS relies on for communication. Keep this limitation in mind when using the Express as a bridge."
