A buddy of mine needs some help..here is his msg:
The wifey and I just got a ReplayTV as an early Christmas present. ReplayTV supports Ethernet and can hook into home networks. I bought a wireless bridge and was able to get it recognized on my wireless network. However, the IP address it likes is the same one as my PC (which is plugged into one of the 4 wired ports). Everything seems to work okay but when the ReplayTV is accessing the internet to download the program guides XP fusses at me because two devices are sharing the same IP address. Soooo ... I changed the IP addy of my PC and now ReplayTV doesn't work. I am scouring the message boards but haven't found any solutions. I guess it isn't the end of the world if I have a conflicting IP occasionally but I'd rather not have any if you know what I mean. Any ideas?
Anyone with one these things have a solution? thanks.
