Hi,
Firstly. I dont want any spoilers of things that happen after where i am in the game.

Right, now thats over with:

Yesterday, i recieved Zelda through the post (a whole day before the UK release, and with the bonus disk. life is good.), anyway, i`ve been playing it near enough non-stop till about 5 minutes ago.

I was wondering, after you get sent to the forbidden fortress for the second time, is there anything else to do after thats been completed? I`ve recovered the master sword, and am currently on windswept island(i think thats what its called), messing around for a bit.

A simple yes or no will do,
and if known, how much more of the game to go? Same amount as before this? More? Less?

Thanks in advance guys/gals.

I'm not too much farther than that, but yeah there is more. Have you met GannonDorf Yet? Have you gotten the Master Sword's Powers back? I hope those aren't the spoilers you were talking about.

Yes, there is a TON more to do after going to the fortress for the second time. You arent even close to the end yet.

Oh I thought your question about the game would be "why does it suck?"

and my answer would have been "after going back and forth to the same places over and over and over again, it gets tedious"

Hmm probably a little less, but there is something that will take you a while so the time might be around 50/50.

If you do ALL of the little side quests, you are maybe 20% of the way through.

Thanks for the spoilers. I`ll let you off, just this time though.

maladroit, i never said that Zelda:TWW sucked. The game rules. I think that the Zelda series of games are amazing. There isnt a way that a Zelda game could ever be crap.

Heres the question to end all questions. Is it as long as either OOT, or MM?
Cos i`m sick to death about games that are short, the last 7 games i`ve brought, i`ve completed in less than 3 days. Splinter cell in 2 days, Unreal2 in 2 days, RalliSport Challenge(PC) in a day, C&C generals in 2 days, Mario Sunshine in 3 days, StarFox in 2 days. The only game thats taken me longer is Metroid Prime, which has taken me a week to get upto the Metroid Prime Final Boss, but i stopped there cos Zelda came.

I'd say it's approximately as long as OoT. This is assuming you try to find all of the Pieces of Heart, Treasure Maps, and every other upgrade etc.

I never completed most of the side quests, though I know someone who verified that the game could be beat in 11 hours with 3 hearts. (this was after playing it 8 hours/day 5 days/week for two months straight)

You've still got a lot left to do, don't worry it's not over yet.

To all the people that say the game sucked, you do realize that it was meant to emphasize exploring this time, and less action. That's why all the enemies are easy as hell to kill and the bosses too.

But I still think about that clip that showed realistic Link fighting Gannon that was released when the GC was (about to be?) released. Maybe they'll do something like that for the next Zelda, I can only hope.

i think you need to slow down man... it took me like 3 months to beat mario sunshine... but id only play it for like 20 minutes a day :p

windwaker took me about 2 weeks... but that's because i restrained myself, whenever i get a new game i want to rush through it and play it non-stop because its fun but im always dissapointed when i beat it 24 hours after i bought it.

I have alot of time on my hands. I only spend about 2 days in total at college a week(Full Tuesday, Half Wed, Half Fri). I need something to do, and theres sod all on the telly in the middle of the day.
Ive got to admit though, while fun to play, they are annoyingly short. Games seem to be getting shorter lately.
Out of those 7 games, Only C&C Generals & Splinter Cell have i gone back to. Splinter Cell however is waring a bit thin now, after you figured out how everything in the game world works, its very easy to complete the levels with no guns fired. C&C Generals however, although the SP Mode is short, the skirmish is good. Especially considering that vast amount of user made maps that are already available.
