Can someone update me on AMD chipsets? Been out for a while.

What's in the works for the 64 bit procs with regard to PCI-E and DDR-2. What's gonna be my next board for an upgrade to 64 bit down the road?

Nforce 4.

DDR-2 is not a big issue on A64, since the chips archetecture. nforce4 is the next gen, nforce3 250gb is the cream of the crop right now

amd doesnt even have ddr2 on the roadmaps so nobody knows when thats gonna happen. probably in the next 9 months will we start to here heavily about nforce4

I am thinking nforce 4 will be a winter surprise, that may be because I am in a good mood tonight but I have a feeling it may be in the works for christmas, though doubtful.

I would guess/hope nFORCE 2 to be a reality late Q4/04 or early Q1/05.. but thats because im upgrading at that time

I hope you mean nfore4 as nforce 2 has been out for a long long time now and we are already on nforce 3.
