how do you attach them? are they split all the way down? or do you have to remove connectors to slide it over?

They are slit all the way down, you just push in whatever you wanna hide.

Try are keep power and data cables seperated

i grabbed a couple tonight at the auto store, 1.79$ each for 3 feet@3/4" wide. will really snaz up those power wires, thanks guys.
