Can someone tell me how to run the Doom 3 Alpha leak?

I think it appropriate enough to post it. It's been leaked and everyone can now get a good taste of where the game is headed.

The file i downloaded is 364mb in size and is an .exe but when I click on it, a DOS screen and quickly pops up then dissapears..

how do I run it?
