Ya, you need a boot disk. Copy the flash utility and new BIOS to the disk, then boot with it. When you boot to your floppy, just run the flash utility, and you'll have options to back up your current BIOS, then you'll need to tell it the path to the new BIOS (a:\a7v1007.awd) - then flash, and viola! Many people suggest going into the BIOS and setting it back to defaults, then reconfiguring it after you install a new BIOS. You should be set! Hard not to sweat when it's flashing though.. praying that your computer doesn't hang 😉 (Heard some nasty stories!)
