I have a winamp skin that I use quite often.. but I want to change the colors around a little bit.. mainly just the color of the playlist window and the color behind the information display. Can someone tell me what program I can use to do this with? All I have is the skin file which has a .wsz extension. Is there some way that I can extract the BMP's from the WSZ file and then edit the colors and then repack it some how? There must be an easy way to do this.

If you rename the .wsz (winamp skin zip) to .zip it'll behave just like a regular zip file, you can freely edit the contents. When you're done just rename it back to .wsz and you have a new skin.

You can do what MK4 just said or you can find the extracted .bmp's in a folder in your Windows Temp folder while the skin is in use. More than likely you will not only have to change the colors used in the bitmaps but you may need to edit the colors in the "pledit.txt" and "viscolor.txt" that go with that skin.

Edit: Also you don't necessarily need to put them back into .wsz format after you edit them. Just move that extracted folder into your Winamp/Skins folder and it can be used. This is how it was done before they came out with the compressed skin file.
