Can someone tell me how good this monitor is?

It's an envision monitor, which I think the one I have now is as well, and mine has been doing fine for a while, and still is, but I need another monitor. My question is, how good is this monitor and what type of tube does it have?

Yeah that was the only review I could find myself, but it could also be someone that doesn't know what they are talking about. Does any one know if the screen is truely flat, what tube does it use?

envision aka pixie, makes low-end monitors, which you can tell by the price tag .. actaully that person in the review is probably right .. pixie (envision), makes usable monitors, for a low price , but they arent viewsonics or anything .. just my thoughts ..

Samsungs aren't too expensive either. And I feel they're the best around.

Samsung is most definately best bang for the buck. I picked up my 19" 955DynaFlat from Dell for 185.00 shipped after rebate. You can't beat that with at stick!

If you're looking for something cheaper, I've heard mixed reviews about KDS displays. Supposedly they use Trinitron (Sony) tubes, which are definately nice. They are available at a lot of big retailers also so you can watch the sale-ads and get a good deal.

Well I am looking for something using apeture grill since from what I have seen that offers more vibrant colors. But I don't really want to spend more then a couple hundred. The samsung DF series are not AG they are shadow mask I think. That looks alright, but not as bright as the AG's, and samsungs AG series are a bit more expensive, but you are right, good bang for the buck. Maybe i will check them out. I am worried about dell though, they still have that ad up advertising the 100.00 rebate on samsung monitors when not all of them have that high a rebate.
