Can someone suggest some good Jpop for me?

Ok, first off, I'm not looking to get into this genre. I want to bring in a song or two for a class in school, but I have no clue about any artists. Does anyone know who the N Sync of Japan is right now or similar so I could download a couple songs? Anyone know some websites that list the top songs or whatever? Male or female doesn't matter, just that their popular. Thanks in advance

I like Kuraki Mai and Shimatani Hitomi. Utada Hikaru and Hamasaki Ayumi are very popular, too.

I wouldn't necessarily go by this Top 40 list; I think a few of on the list really suck. Try listening to Zone's "Secret Base", maybe. It's a pretty good song. Mini Moni's song cracks me up, but I think it's for little kids.
