Can someone suggest a good web host?

Hello all, anyone know the cheapest web host out there? Need about 20 gigs a month. I know some ATOT's here run hosting services 😉

EDIT : IMPORTANT NOTE : I do not own, or plan on owning, a domain. I know some services require one. I just want a site under something like http://reallystupidlylongname.com/~lookslikelinenoise/ to host some really high res pics that are pointed to by another site.

I use Rochen. They are a bit more expensive than most but you get professional service. Customer Service Representatives all around the world so you get instant response to support tickets. They are a professional firm.

DeviousTrap has a webhosting company and I have heard from numerous people that he is offering excellent service. I would PM him if I were you 🙂 Goodluck.

i use handinhand computing. super cheap, huge storage and bandwidth, super fast connections, awesome tech support. havne't found a catch yet.

Got a url? Googleing for handinhand returns a bunch of stuff that has nothing to do with webhosting - and the only webhost I can find in there is not in english 😱

Hrmm . . . best I've found so far is $6/mo for 20 gigs, which includes a dedicated IP and no setup charge - or $8/mo for 50 gigs without database access. Think i'm gonna jump on it 🙂

I wouldn't jump on anything as there are a lot of highschoolers with webhosting businesses. you'll regret it at the end. I would go to webhostingtalk.com and read reviews about hosts there.

I also agree with Xiety - but the site looks very professional and googling reviews it looks good. The site is netmondo.us.

You know there are sites selling professional looking website templates. Make sure its not one of their customers.

Sites can be decieving... </blockquote>]http://www.webhostingtalk.com/search.php?s=&amp;action=showresults&amp;searchid=2384030&amp;sortby=lastpost&amp;sortorder=descending">Willing to take a chance?

lol, yikes. Wonder why that didn't appear under google.

After reading through the forums on NetMondo, I think I might still take a chance with them. All I need is an IP address to point at some pictures, and most of the complaints have to do with issues that don't reguard downtime (i.e. their customer support is pure ass when dealing with dns issues and such). Tempted to just go for it at $8/50Gb. If I shoot myself in the foot, at least I went into it with eyes open . . .
