Can someone suggest a good 5.1 speaker system with a built in decoder?

I'm looking to get a 5.1 speaker system with a built in decoder. The planned use is for an Xbox 360 and a pc so I'm hoping to find a system that has at least 2 digital inputs. The problem I'm running into is that not many sites carry them, and the ones that do have a very limited inventory.

I was looking at the Logitech Z-5500 speakers, but they only have one digital input which is one shy of what I was looking for. Does anyone out there use such a system or can you recommend a system?

One other thing, what exactly are these type of speakers called? I've googled about every possible combination of "speaker" and "built in decoder" but the results are pretty scant. Is there a company out there that specializes in such configurations?

z-5500s have two digital inputs, optical and coax S/PDIF.

Outside of these speakers I dont think any others have built in DD/DTS decoders. You will probably have to settle with an actual home theater reciever. But to answer the question the Z-5500's DO have two inputs, so they will suit your needs.

EDIT: Also some sound cards such as the X-fi with the external or internal boxes will input 2 types of digital sound, but again the Z-5500's are the only stand alone speakers that i know of that can do what your asking.

Yeah, thats what I thought. However, I was looking around for a picture of the inputs for this system and what I found doesn't seem to have an optical input. Check it out here:

Can you see it on there? I can't. Unless the inputs are somewhere completely different.

They are on the back of the unit with the rest, trust me I have the Z-5500 control knob on my desk, it has optical input 😀

Also FYI the current versions of the z-5500 have regular speaker wire running to the sub from the speakers, meaning you can extend the length of the satelites or get "better" quality higher guage speaker wire if you so choose. The pic you posted is from the initial version that i doubt you can even buy new anymore, that first version has fixed length RCA cables.
