I am looking at replacing my 24" LCD with at least a 32" monitor. I dont game not thats not an issue. I mainly just cruise the net and use my guitar software on it. I am looking for something quite reasonable. Let me know what your suggestions are. thanks

You might get a better response here.

I don't really have any experience with specific models, but I do know that anything over 30" puts you into TVs, and out of computer-specific monitors. You will definitely want a 1080p-capable TV for use as a computer monitor- I do have experience hooking my laptop up to a 720p display, and while it was technically legible, there's no way I could stand it for having to actually read anything longer than just navigating the operating system. Here might be a good place to start. I hope others have more specific recommendations than I can provide.

Get a Sharp Aquos 1080p 32". I heard that it's good, but so are most other 32" 1080p screens. Just google or check the models on AVSForum for reviews/issues.

I don't know of any monitors that are over 32". There's the Dell 300X WFP, but that things's resolution is 2570 (or something) X whatever. Dot pitch is very small, and it's a lot of real estate. Price is at least $1300 (various sales take it to $1100 I think).

Personally, I'd go with a 32" TV for larger text and price. Saw one for $800 at a store a short while back.
