Can someone recommend a site to me where any tech question can be asked w/o getting locked?

I want to abide by the rules here at anandtech but I'd like to find a site where I can ask tech questions that won't get locked?

Are there any other sites out there?

Thanks.

EDIT: I meant to say "tech question" in the title.

What's wrong the various technical forums here?

Yeah, make sure you're in the right forum. If you post technical questions in Off Topic they're going to get locked. If you have a question about software go to the software forum. They make the titles pretty self explanatory :).

I've only had 1 thread locked, and that was my "Happy Day Before Thanksgiving!" thread this morning. :D

I tried that. So what search words would you use?

and don't find the thread then pull of a couple of words and say you would use those words....

I think moderators kindly move posts, that are started in the wrong topic, to the correct topic.

That's why they invented the botnet and +b *!*@*.aol.*

Besides, I've never before met a n00blar that could understand what I said enough to know how to accomplish it.
