Can someone recommend a labtop

My sisters looking to get a labtop in the 600$ range (could probably go higher if needed). She doesn't do much more than standard internet stuff, but if the video card could play games on very low settings it'd be a plus. I'm not too good with labtops so I figured I'd come here first to hear some suggestions and a starting point to look.

What kind of a lab does your sister have? I tried putting a computer on my yellow lab, but he kept moving around too much.
