OK what we have is 2 halways, or wings if you will. I imagine we'll have one hub in each hallway, with the hubs connected or whatever. Mainly we'll use it to play games, and hopefully set up a file server also, depending on how much it'd cost to get a strictly server going. I don't imagine a server would be too much though, mainly a mobo, chip, and ram would be the hi qual stuff. I guess what I'm looking for is what's required to have a NT server like we used to have in my last dorm, or do I even need one? I plan on having 15-20 people on it, and using the RJ-45 type NICs...whats the best for $ anyways? I hear good about Linksys...What would be a good site to learn from? Buy from? I see these 5 port Linksys 10/100 hubs for around $50 or so I htink on eb@y.... any help appreciated!
