It's eczema. I'm a hairdresser and I used to get that on my hands all the time. It's so itchy! My hands were always in hair bleach and perm solution which is what caused the reaction. Use a cortizone cream, which you can get from your Dr. Also there is a cream that you can put on your hands which acts like a barrier to chemicals or whatever is causing the reaction. Also make sure you wear gloves if you are going to be dealing with harsh things on your skin, especially with your hands inflamed like they are. Lastly moisturize, moisturize moisturize! I find Keri lotion works best for me. Hope this helps!
You should have plenty of Jerkins lotion around, no?

As long as you don't have repeated exposure to the source of the irritation, it should clear up fine without the assistance of any cream/ointment.

I won't put a number on my certainty, but I've lived with it all my life - I should be able to recognize it.

They appaeared about 2 days ago and they itch like crazy sometimes... PICTURE (Note, they are not white tipped, they are just shiny and reflecting the light from what angle)

Any ideas what this might be?

that's what happens when you wipe using your fingers. use toilet paper next time.

Well since you've had this problem all your life and you've never used any cream, perhaps you should use a cortezone and resolve a problem!
;)

*ahem* My girlfriend is coming to visit me tommorow... should i go 'lefty' on her to avoid any spreading of the bumps? :D

if you want to keep 'righty', you can always use your right toes. (are we talking about same thing here?)

Scary but odd. I have a couple of bumps on my right index finger that look almost the same. I took some toenail clippers cut those puppies open and used some peroxide to clean them up. That was yesterday. Today they are just a couple of scabs. Also been using Bacitracin on them.

I have two one lb tubs of ointment, with a refill covering the next year.

Does that answer your question?

Welp boys and girls, the situation is nearly over...

Turns out it wasnt ezcema after all, but a fungus. YUCK!

It got pretty damn bad when i was in london, was ALL over my finger and partially on the ones next to it. The cortizone cream didnt help, so i got an anti-fungal one and it started clearin up the next day.

Thanks for the help! :D

They're likely liquid filled, you can pop them.

Have your recently started using a new soap?
