i really want to overclock my duron that i got yesterday. i have no knowledge on how to overclock via jumpers. i used to have a p3v4x setup and it was all done via the bios. can someone e-mail me, or help me go through this process of overclocking my chip? i would be very greatful. please, help?
 
It would help if you tell us what motherboard your using. I'm guessing the Asus A7V. The settings for jumperfree disable (Jumper) and Front Side bus (4 switch bank) are in the manual. The multiplier (6 switch bank)should be on the botherboard istelf. 5 & 6 should be on I believe to be able to change the multiplier switches 1-4. The table will be split into two sections. 5, 5.5 - 9 on one table and 9.5 - 12.5 on the other. The book only omits the multiplier table, but it explains all the others.
