Damn, been a while since I seen that. Wasn't he being chased by police or something and tried to jump? That seems familiar.

No, it's where in The Matrix, Neo is being taught by Morpheus that he can manipulate anything he want as long as he realizes that The Matrix is just a program, and not the real word. So Morpheus boots up a "program" that they jack into, where he is told to jump across two very tall, very far apart buildings. Even after watching Morpheus make the impossible jump, like everyone before him, he doubts himself and lands on his face on the street below.

You're probably thinking of the part where Trinity jumps from the top of a building and falls through a window into another building (hands first), rolling down the stairs, and pulls out a couple handguns.
