who cares, it's not something that needs to be explained.
some just have yellow fever, they think asian chicks are exotic or something. I'm asian, and I'd prefer latin or white chick over an asian chick any day.

Maybe it's the whole exotic thing coupled with an conceptual ideal shaped from alot of anime watching....just a guess.
Myself (white), I find asian women to be either very attractive or very unattractive, there's not alot in-between. Same goes for most other ethnicities for me, except Hispanic and Caucasian. *shrug*

That's true. In fact, most of the girls in anime look white (big boobs, blue eyes, different colored hair, etc...).
When I watched alot more anime than I do now I can honestly say that there was a....stigma attached to my concept of asian women (I can't really say if that made them more or less attractive), but my physical attractedness to them IRL was the same as now. Either hot or not, with few "in-betweens".
I remember the days when Dezign use to post in this forum and she got quite a reception from the white boys here.
