Man..that ranks up their with Favre (who's ancestors must have been dislexic when they picked their last name).

It's actually pronounced SHI-SHEV-SKI

When you look at polish/slavic names you have to remember that the letters in their alphabet have distintly different pronounciation. Zs have a SH sound. Ws have a soft V sound (almost an F sound).

So K(silent) r(not sure) zy(SHI) zew(SHEV/F) ski(SKI)

theres alot of people of polish descent around here(have a little polish blood myself) and some of thier last names are doozy's like that.
