I think I am a bit confused as to what I should actually be looking for to purchase my new batch of RAM to use to overclock my new 2.6 Pentium to over 3 ghz speeds
At first I thought the absolute highest PC rating was the best for RAM like PC4200 instead of PC3500 or PC3200 but now I think the 1:1 ratio versus the 5:4 ratio is thowing me a bit off in my quest to find the right RAM to overclock my new system. Is my goal to try and buy RAM to go 1:1 ratio or 5:4??
Also should I buy cheaper 3200 RAM and buy a GIG of it or should I spend close to the same amount and buy high quality PC4200 RAM and only buy 512 of it?
thanks if anyone can help clear this up for me....or just illustrate what the timings mean.....in comparision to th PC rating of RAM and how it affects the overall CPU speed
thanks
