Hi all...
I've got a problem that I'm having a very difficult time solving. In mid July I RMA'ed a dead motherboard under warranty back to Gigabyte. They promise that they will send the replacement in 2 to 3 weeks. Three weeks later I called them and they said that my replacement was shipped back to me the day before. When I asked for a tracking number they said that it wasn't listed in their system.
So, I wait 6 business days--long enough for anything shipped by UPS to get anywhere else in the US--and still nothing. I called Gigabyte back and they repeated to me that they shipped the board. When I told them what they had said to me the previous week, the nice woman told me that I needed to speak to the "manager". I waited on hold for 15 minutes and then she came back and said that he would call be back in a few minutes. That was 3 days ago. Since then I've had at least 8 conversations with the RMA lady, who only tells me that "the manager is handling it".
I've already bought another board for my client's machine--and it was DOA. So, my problem is that I have $6000 worth of equipment sitting here that I can't deliver since I can't get the folks at Gigabyte to send me back a working board, or even return my calls. I just can't see buying a 3rd one and eating even more of a loss.
Would some nice soul in Socal be kind enough to take a trip over there and try to get my board? I will be forever indebted, and will do my best to compensate you appropriately.
PM me if you can help. Thank you
