Can someone make me a simple program for win7?

I need a program to do the same thing as me going to the device manger and right clicking the computer icon and selecting "scan for hardware changes". My dad cannot handle this task every time, and this is a required step to refresh the parrallel ports.
 
That would probably be best done by someone who has Windows 7 and AutoIt. I'm only halfway there. (The free half.)
