Can someone look at these X850 XT PE pics and tell me why they look different?

Here is a link to the pics on eBay...

Some XT PEs look like that (with the white ATI logo on the fan) and nothing above the copper heatsink... while others have a black ATI logo on the fan and have the Radeon logo with the crazy looking lines above the heatsink?! Has anyone else noticed this? What are the differences in the 2 cards (if any)?

Also, if you look at the bottom pic (from above), you will notice that it says "Test Passed" on the PCB (where the Rage Theater chip would be)? I have never seen this printed on another X850... Could this card be refurbished? I asked the seller, and he said the card was OEM and barely used. He also said it wasn't refurbished...

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

-Thanks

Hmm, it looks like that card is missing the rage theater chip.

The X850XT PE that I had did not have the chip removed, and it was an OEM one. I was thinking it had OC passed or something sticker on it. It had the black sticker and then the Radeon with the tribal looking art stuff by it over the copper heatsink though too.

So, maybe that one doesn't have the VIVO capabilities? Other than that, I'd say its should probably be the same as other XT PEs.

Not sure about the stickers(hey they're just stickers) but the "test pass" is normal. All cards that are shipped to a consumer have that, it means the board went through a serious of stress test before being shipped out. Some might have a stamp while others might have little stickers saying that.

The one that came with my Dell, is the "low" end 850XT PE, it has no VIVO and one DVI and one VGA connector as opposed to two DVI connectors. So I guess there are different PEs.
