Kind of a lame shootout. Obvious who'd get 3rd place - the Cobra isn't nearly as refined as the Z06 or the Viper. However, with < $2k in parts it could easily beat either car in the 1/4

wow, the Cobra R only runs mid 13's?

I'll take a slightly slower 350Z for about the same price and get a nicer interior, better handling and fuel economy, and get all the stares from the ladies for about the same price

Did you even read the article? Obviously not. It's just a normal 03 Cobra. And Edmunds can't drive worth $hit - 03's are good for at least mid-high 12's. There's a large difference in speed between a Cobra and a 350z

better handling? Than what? Nothing in that article I'm afriad. Fuel economy? Take it The Vette gets high 20's for hiway MPG anyways. Stares from the ladies? You need em, Nissan Fanboy And just for the record, a 350 is much more than "slightly" slower than a 12 second Viper
