This crap likes to grow in my yard in the fall when I'm in the middle of reseeding, but with all the rain we've gotten in the past three weeks and the relatively mild weather, it has started sprouting up a few months early:

This stuff grows FAST too. It multiplies from like a few inches to 6 to 8 inches in a matter of a week or two. Luckily though, all of its roots are concentrated at the base, so if you get a good pinchhold around the origin, you can pull the whole thing out.
